They’ve been in storage for a decade, and they WILL play with surface noise that can be addressed with D4 or a VPI cleaning. I can’t test-play at the minute. Beautiful copy, refreshed plates by Specialty for reissue! Hardly played, I bought this LP when I worked at Sound Odyssey, played it just once to spin it off onto reel-to-reel and haven’t played it since! Shrinkwrap is all there, but it has torn and scrunched over time. Vinyl--- NM/VG+. Side 1 looks unplayed. Side 2 has something pressed into the grooves intermittently in the first three tracks, but is not feelable to the fingertip. See photo. Plates--- ST-A-712367-H 1-9 “SRC” machine-stamped is the “Specialty Records” insignia, who refreshed the plates. / ST-A-712368-K 1-1. Side 2 dead wax too small for the “SRC” insignia has a hand-etched “SP.” Cover--- EX. Mostly still covered in shrinkwrap, light damage where cover was exposed. Gatefold has never been opened. Hype Sticker--- NM. Sticker lists all 9 tracks. Labels--- NM/NM. Side 2 label has the embossed letters, “E A S T.” NO SPINDLE MARKS. Inner Sleeve--- NM/NM. Solid grey “The Atlantic Group sleeve of the early 1980’s is present, and in gorgeous condition. NO SPLIT SEAMS. A generic inner sleeve will be provided, so as not to damage your original Atlantic inner sleeve en route. CAUTION! There has been a startling increase in bidders canceling their bids.
