My drawing Social Terraforming. Shipped with USPS First Class. This drawing represents the symbolic oppressive feeling we all felt during this recent pandemic. This drawing was a vison in my head. A realization of the old days of Brick & Mortar are slowly being destroyed and everything is slowly becoming online. Amazon is the start of a new world in my opinion. The advancement of technology with cell phones, computers, and particularly the search engine has changed the way people interact with one another. Terraforming which is the changing of the earths climate, but my made up word, "social Terraforming," is the extreme example of changing the way people connect with one another forever. I am a generation X person. Luckily I have experienced the enrich connections of humanity before the, "Machine," improved until the point of no return. The heart craves the unpredictable, vulnerable, and mysterious connections we once had during the times of brick and mortar, and no cell phones, but the mind knows that the advancement of machines is the way to go. I can go on forever about the meaning of this drawing I did. I wrote many pages in college about human versus machine, and this drawing I did brought me great pleasure when I was able to bring it to life.
