At Pencil Portraits, we take your photograph and recreate it in the subtle soft tones of pencil. We use professional digital software to adjust and alter the image to remove backgrounds and focus on the mainsubject matter, before finishing it off using the traditional artist’s techniques of soft pencil rendering, blending, feathering and contouring. The finished artwork is produced on quality artists flat matte paper ready to be framed. The finished print is supplied unframed, but we can supply mounted and framed versions if requested. On a personal note, I have worked within the art, illustration and graphic design industries for nearly 30 years, producing stunning artwork for a variety of clients. From individuals to multinational companies,from environmental charities such as the WWF to greeting card companies including Hallmark and Simon Elvin. Over the years I have developed my own techniques to create beautifully realistic rendered images. Today, I am also an accomplished ‘Digital Artist’, fluent with Photoshop, PaintshopPro, Daz3D and Rhino digital art and CAD software. This can be one taken on a mobile phone, with a digital camera or scanned. Email the image to us as a jpeg file (this is often the default file choice for images taken on phones and cameras). When we have received your order details, payment and image, we we quickly start work on your desired artwork. We will remove any unnecassary background to focus on and emphasise the main subject. A final image will be emailed to you for approval, before the finished print is delivered Royal Mail First Class in a custom card envelope, ready for mounting and framed at your discretion. If required, we can supply a ready mounted print ready for framing (at an additional cost), or a fully mounted and framed print (at an additional cost).
